In a near future, a viral video triggers an international MMA tournament where every major religion sends a champion to fight for the mantle of humanity’s “one true” belief system, resulting in a strange, wildly uneven blend of martial-arts melodrama, unabashed camp, and earnest humanist sermonizing. Messy, heartfelt, and frequently baffling, it has an undeniable charm in how fully it commits to its own bizarre vision, but it never quite finds a comfortable balance between inspired silliness and outright stupidity.
