Deliciously pulpy with style and heart to spare, The First Avenger embraces classic storytelling and features some of the best one-off supporting characters in the MCU. Minor pacing issues aside, this confident period piece is a fantastic introduction to Captain America and a solid chapter in the MCU’s initial phase
