The Invisible Man

Review

Months after escaping a controlling relationship, Cecelia becomes convinced she’s being stalked by an invisible version of her abusive ex. The first half drips with tension, positioning itself as a truly creepy, often nerve-racking exercise in pure dread as we follow Cecelia’s descent into paranoia. But once we get to the big reveal, quality diminishes considerably and we’re left with a revenge tale that never earns an honest catharsis.
